As part of their Summer 2018 Production Season, Elstree University Technical College produced Lord of the Flies by William Golding. This was performed in an intimate, studio space with a low ceiling and limited space. The set featured a relatively large fuselage of an aircraft and the island the children inhabit after their plane crashes.
Following a traumatic plane crash, a group of school children find themselves stranded without adult supervision on a tropical island. As the children attempt to form a culture similar to the one they left behind, they quickly find themselves dividing into civilised and uncivilised factions.
